About This Project
JD Solicitors are a leading criminal law practice based in the West Midlands. They came to us with a requirement to modernise their website, replacing an existing site but also to expand content to fit service areas they have moved into and successfully drive new client enquiries through paid and organic channels.
As a law firm, accuracy in content production was an essential driver, alongside correct representation through information but also being able to access a new and wider client set in line with the goals of this expanding business.
The first part of our process, was to research the landscape of criminal law practices across search and highlight areas of competition for JD in line with their service offering.
We completed a GAP analysis and keyword research piece to devise a new content architecture based around search volume, services offered and user intent.
This created a requirement for a significant volume of new content on site, all of which needed to be written before the build commenced.
We produced content briefs, wrote content internally and achieved client sign off for well in excess of 15,000 words of copy.
We then outlined the UX for the site, focused on clear information accessibility and calls to action to gather enquiries.
This took the form of custom landing pages, service tiers and category content.
Once the design was completed and site built, we then completed a site migration, and pushed the site live.
In terms of customer acquisition, we have primarily focussed on search for JD, namely SEO and Paid Search as we can target users at points closest to conversion and use search intent to drive relevant traffic that converts.
